1. I think that it would be much more intresting to have smaller groups who disscuss around some matters than just sit and listen to lectures which can be intresting but it´s far more intresting to discuss different types of teaching , what we teach how we teach in our different schools and then I feel that the whole event is too much design orientated even if the school participaiting also have other directions as fine art and crafts. I would really like to see discussions about topics more inherent the teaching matters.
2. I would like to thank the Bratislava team for their excellent work and organisational skills. Everything worked out well, indications were clear and the host school made us really feel welcome. I especially enjoyed the guided tour of the school (part of the X files program)
3. It was great for me to participate for the first time. I felt welcome, the networking opportunities were excellent and the treated issues and presentations very interesting! Also Bratislava and the Academy were lovely locations, everyone was friendly and the conferene was well organized and carried out.
4. registration via a travelcompany with the only possibility to pay by a personal creditcard is in this kind of events inefficient.
5. That was great !!!
6. The hotel booking system changed my hotel from one to finally the 3rd one that was not at all a nice hotel and compared with the quality of it, the price did not respond it at all. It was hotel Tatra that is in question.
Social events were good and bad, bad in that sense that e.g. the last evening was held in a cold place, people had to stand and many people I thought I could have met, had left before I had the chance to meet them - they left for restaurants to be able to sit and discuss. Please never again these standing partys!
Cumulus is the best to network and meet old and new collagues. I wonder the number of people was so small perhaps due to the similar topic in June in Germany?

1. i was involved in x-files and therefor not that much in all the other events
2. its a pity the xfiles meeting was not more dynamic - but then again, the input and synergy is created by the people present and especially on the second day the energy seemed low....
3. Some good and some bad presentations in each session I attended.
This evaluation form could be better. How am I supposed to remember the keynotes in all the sessions?
4. starting with sessions much to late isn't very appropriate.
"Luckely" the second keynote speaker didn't show up, so the program could go on as announced
5. The lectures on friday was not very intresting and did not invite to further discussions
6. The rector and the associate rector did a great job. very friendly athmosphere.
7. The x-files working group was not very well organized this time and there was not enough time for networking.
8. X files: very intersting.

1. Bjorn Kierulv
2. Eva Jiricna, very suggestive and visual presentation about architecture & design.
Per Gyllenspetz, interesting perspective from the small designer and as a contrast the designers from Audi and Ford.
3. Eva Jiricna. Performance was good. Interesting to listen to. Subject was interesting. She had interesting examples/ pictures.
4. good were the freely spoken ones. also the ones that gave an idea of the next conferences. also lotta in the x-files was super.
5. I very much enjoyed X files and the guided visit of the schools. As I am in charge of placing students, this is obviously what interests me the most. I am not trained in design so going to some of the conferences is always stimulating in order for me to learn more about design - but not essential for my immediate position.
6. Jan Michl. Talked about something everyone could relate to, something relevant for both designers, researchers and teachers. Something new.

8. Stefan Klen introduction to the history and development of design in Slovakia.
9. The best presentation was the presentation during X-files of the dutch student.
10. The debate about car design was quite interesting and very well managed by the keynote speaker.
11. The presentations should be less 'commercial' and fit more 'design matters', in particular projects, practises, experiences, trends, research...

1. Mainly, though the programme only mentioned the general theme of the sessions. It would have been interesting to have the theme of each presentation.

10. you expected more by the presentations, because paper summarizes the facts much better, than the speakers do. not every intelligent person is a great presentator.

1. Contacts and knowledge. Got some few contact and some interesting knowledge, but not too much. Had a nice time, the social aspect was fine (because we travelled as a group)
2. i got a very positive impression of the school and would send students there from now on. that was most important. the sessions sometimes appear like a duty that have to be organised... but one is not always convinced of the level of discussion that is taking place.

3. I thought the conference would be more orientated to teaching and topics in that field
4. Meeting new people and old contacts. It was not completely achieved as there was not so many participants, but it was correct on the whole
5. meeting the academy, city, collegues / networking.

1. Could we write the institution name in big caracters on the badge ? (instead of coordinator name). What university does he come from ?
2. I'd like to thank the hosts & Cumulus for a very good organization and a nice and helpful staff. It was a pleasure to be able to participate.
3. More research, and more interaction/digital design.
4. Please try to develop this network which already exist and has the opportunity to be something really important for the teaching at design and art schools and the exchange of students and staff that can bring a greater understanding of different cultures and way of thinking
5. The architectural tour was interesting
6. there should be more offers for the administrational staff. i think some of the presentations just don t fit their needs and wishes. actully cumulus comprises two conference big points: teaching and administration, and that should be seen and stressed.
7. what concerns kyoto, i am still not dicided but will do it soon.
